Tagged: you know this scene is funny and everything but it also makes me really sad because this is the first time Andred has ever eaten a sweet, it's probably the first time he's ever eaten anyhting that isn't sterilised, and it's such a new experience and he's so confused by it but he loves it, and the Doctor's thrilled because here's a Time Lord actually enjoying the simple pleasure of eating a jellybaby for the first time, instead of worrying about getting alien germs and trying to conceal disgust, so he gives him the pack because he knows how unlikely it is that Andred's going to get something with so much flavour to eat again, and because he can see that Andred's different from all the others, Andred doesn't have any prejudices against other species and he appreciate how limited Time Lords can be, with their sterile food and sterile world view, and of course he falls in love with Leela when there's so much more depth to her than he'll ever find on Gallifrey, Andred why do you do this to me?, I only have to see you eating a jellybaby and suddenly all the feels, Andred, Andred is the most amazing Time Lord, .
